Well, if you answered 'd' you are right!

Solution:
x = be my age
2x = age of my teacher
x - 8 = age of mine, 8 years ago
2x - 8 = age of my teacher, 8 years ago

x - 8 = (2x - 8) 1/3
3(x - 8) = 2x -8
3(x - 8) = 2x - 8
3x - 24 = 2x - 8
3x - 2x = 24 - 8
x = 16 ......my age

Since my teacher is twice of my age, my teacher now is 32.
